In Scottish folklore, the Loch Ness Monster or Nessie is a creature said to inhabit Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. It is often described as large in size with a long neck and one or more humps protruding from the water. Popular interest and belief in the creature have varied since it was brought to worldwide attention in 1933. Evidence of its existence is anecdotal, with a few disputed photographs and sonar readings.

The scientific community regards the Loch Ness Monster as a phenomenon without biological basis, explaining sightings as hoaxes, wishful thinking, and the misidentification of mundane objects - Wikipedia

Do you believe in the Loch Ness Monster?

What do you think it is?

Personally, I don't believe in the Loch Ness Monster myself, however, I don't think it's impossible, I think there are many creatures, especially in the sea (marine life), that we do not know about or haven't discovered yet.

I've heard there may be tunnel systems in the Loch that lead to the sea, so who knows. I wouldn't rule anything out but I am sceptical (personally).

Wisdom is knowing how little we truly know.

I'm not sure about this one.

Like you I've always been skeptical and I've always found this photo, which I believe is the most famous photo of Nessie, to be really funny.

Just look at it, it looks like a finger that is bent sticking out of the water.

I think the evidence for Nessie being real is pretty weak.
