I am curious to know if this is actually does happen? You hear stories over in America where a child or two would go missing and they reappear and they claim is due to an alien abduction. But is any of that even true? Do they just use that as an excuse for their child going missing?

I guess we'll never know right. For all we know, there actually have been alien abductions but it just seems so far fetched that we may never believe them. Imagine if one day we find out that aliens do exist and that they have been abducting kids and adults all this time!

If you're looking for the most convincing case, I highly recommend you look into the Travis Walton case.

There's a movie about it called Fire in The Sky there's also a book by the same title, they are both fairly old though.

There's a recenet documentary and book out called The Walton Experience as well.

Basically, to cut a long story short, the guy was out logging with six of his friends, on their way home they came across a UFO, Travis got out of the truck to touch it and was hit by a beam of light which knocked him out. His friends thought he was dead so out of fear they all drove off and left him, when they calmed down and went back to get him he gone.

When they told the police what happened they didn't believe the group of friends, Travis was missing for five days and initially the police thought the friends had killed him and were covering it up, nobody believed the flying saucer story.

They decided to polygraph the friends and they all passed the polygraph test.

Five days later Travis was found safe and well and told his story of how he was abducted by aliens.

It's a crazy story and may be hard to believe but it's the one case that has so much evidence. All these years later all the friends still claim it's 110% true and have never changed their story, even when one of the friends was offered a large sum of money to say it was all a lie, they still maintained their story.

I'm probably going to do a blog post about this at some point but yea, if you're wanting to be convinced about alien abduction, check out the Travis Walton case.

You might be right though if Extraterrestrials made the technology that we are operating with today then they must have massive high-tech surveillance systems that would document every encounter that they did. That would be pretty neat to see though the odds of that happening is slim to none lol

@Rickeo Wow, just reading what you put had me interested. I am going to delve into more in the next couple of days. I find all that stuff fascinating whether it's true or not, I love delving into a world of fantasy sometimes to take me away from reality! Although, I am interested to know why this stuff only seems to happen over in America?

If anything aliens could wipe our mind to make us think nothing ever happened, but I question if there would even be a point in taking us humans to use us in some way. Like what could they use us for?

@million some people have theorised that they have been messing with our genetics for a very long time, look at what we did when we discovered cloning with dolly the sheep, we're still in the very early days of scientific discovery really.

Some people think the aliens could have had a hand in creating us, maybe as some form of scientific experiment; others think that while they may not have created us they have helped us along the way in terms of advancement and development evolutionary.

If that were the case, it's not unreasonable to think that these beings want to keep an eye on us and watch us a long the way, I mean this is all theory and speculation.

There are also people who think they're taking our DNA, sperm, ova etc so they can mix it with their own DNA and cross-breed us.

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer, it's all theory and speculation but there are tons of possible explanations out there of why they may be doing this.

I don't know..If you read Philip J Klass' book UFOs:The Public Deceived the Walton story is full of holes..And Klass even termed it a hoax...Robert Sheaffer has a good article on it over on bad ufos.com:

https://badufos.blogspot.com/2012/02/travis-walton-vs-philip-j-klass.html

As for myself I do not believe Walton was abducted by any aliens or anything else....

@noteverythingisalien the issue is all of his friends witnessed the UFO at the very least.

There's also a discussion on Reddit at the minute with a lot of Bob Lazar's description of the UFO's matching up to what Travis Walton said.

I can't find the Reddit thread now but a lot of things line up with each other.

I have to admit, the way Walton has profited from his experience raises red flags to me but something out of the ordinary happened to this guy, that's my personal opinion anyway.

If it's one thing we know especially from science is  eyewitness testimony is the lowest form of evidence there is.....Which should be rather odd since in the courts it's highest form of evidence...Now having said that how many UFO Abduction cases have witnesses? Walton failed a lie detector test. The National Enquirer offered a $100,000 reward for proof of the existence of aliens....They paid all his medical bills as well...

Another odd thing is that Walton would not talk to the press. He would only talk to publications such as the National Enquirer that believed in UFOs....He goes missing for 5 days and medical exams show no signs of ketones in his system to show that he had even been out of food for days....Which is going to happen especially if you're fasting.

The whole thing was a hoax and Walton had it all planned so he could collect on a huge payday...
